A document found online by BuzzFeed appears to be John McCain's entire, 200-page opposition research file or book on Mitt Romney from 2008, the year they were bitter rivals. Segments of the book have been posted on RedState.com, but this the first time the document has been shared for public consumption in its entirety.

...and most folks thought it was a slip-up.
In 2008 McCain said U. S. Citizens had nothing to fear from an Obama administration.
McCain knows what he’s doing, and I know why I loathe the son of a bitch.

This looks like pay back from McCain.
The McCain Feingold was his pride and joy. Bad Mitt.
(I guess his girl Lindsey got mad)

McCain is a loathsome old politi-ho no doubt about it.

Yes, and I’ll admit I never get tired of beating this dead horse.

Well, he’s not politically dead yet so he deserves all the beating we can mete out. The horse’s ass must have a horse’s hide though because he never seems phased by it.

Yes, I believe he even revels in it.
Despite what he has said in recent years, he actually does like being known as a Maverick.
In his book, he states that he liked getting into fights when he was a kid. I don’t think John’s persona has changed one iota since then.
He’s still that school-yard kid that likes to start fights.
Like Obama, McCain is another adult child whose character and perceptions haven’t matured beyond nine years old. Truth be told, Clinton was another one.
Say what you want about the Bushs (and I certainly do), at least they are adult in their behaviors. They may have been wrong as they could be, but they are not childishly wrong. They were wrong on the adult level.

Yes, I agree. McCain, Clinton and 0bama all have serious anger issues and are emotionally stunted people. McCain is probably the most immature of the three. He has no ideology or core value system other than his own ego and he seems the least aware of his own actions. Clinton and 0bama are much better at masking their flaws behind some fabricated rationality. McCain just gets mad and starts calling people names or cuts off the discussion cold with no explanation.
Is it American's general rejection of authority that has us electing children to high office instead of adults? That might explain why Mutt Romney and Ron Paul have done so well in this primary. Gov. Hollywood Hair the chameleon and Cong. "Take my ball and go home" the hermit doper.

Rejection of authority?
Interesting thought. Good question.
There’s something strange at work here, that’s for sure.

The information has already been out for years. Almost all of has been discussed here on FR many times over. David French of Evangelicals For Mitt debunked a great deal of it. This may hurt Romney in the short run but the damage is pretty much done.

No matter who wins the GOP race, Obama will get beat. The independents are flocking away from Obama at an alarming rate. No amount of negative attacks on either Newt or Romney can save Obama.
