Divorce is not the issue here.
**************
No. Religion is the issue here- Donson says a mistress should not be First Lady. OK. Reagan was divorced, that’s an abomination before God- marriage is for life. Should Reagan have been disqualified?

Do you hate Reagan? Is that your game?
You keep bringing up Regan and comparing him to an adulter like Newt.
Listen, if you don’t like Ronnie and Nancy, just say so.

Ronald Reagan met Nancy the year after his divorce from Jane Wyman, so she wasn't really the "mistress" of a married man.
The McCains were a different story, as are the Gingrichs. And the 23-year age difference is there as well.

not divorce, not religion - “mistress” and previously stated adultery, all of which has to do with character.
