A father has told a court he was only doing his duty as a Muslim by handing out leaflets calling for gay people to be executed. Kabir Ahmed, 28, said he handed a leaflet called Death Penalty? to a policeman and stuffed them through letterboxes across Derby because he was spreading the word of God as taught by Islam. He said: 'My intention was to do my duty as a Muslim, to inform people of God’s word and to give the message on what God says about homosexuality.'
Married Ahmed, who has a nine-month-old daughter, is on trial with four other men at Derby Crown Court charged with inciting hatred on the grounds of sexual orientation, the first prosecution of its kind since legislation came into force in March 2010. At the opening of the trial last week jurors were shown the Death Penalty? leaflet, which shows an image of a mannequin hanging from a noose and says that homosexuality is punishable by the death penalty under Islam.

We have to respect other cultures even if that means tolerating Muslims hanging the gays. Why are liberals so intolerant ?? LOL

I'm still stunned that the media played down the black flash mob attacks on white gays. Usually the rule IS gay trumps black. Perhaps we need to have a Muslim random beat-down of a gay black male to really see some sparks fly in newsrooms.
If this guy gets convicted maybe he can apply for a special amnesty visa to get into the USA. After all, he’s a mooselimb. Oh wait! He’s a homophobe too. Oh my, what are we going to do?

Either persecution or prerogative each intolerant of the other, and both intolerant of an amicable society that strives for the confluence of morals and liberty. Ultimately, it’s the decent, regular folk that get shat on 100% of the time.
I guess the one group the Muslims need to be cautious of offending are gay guys. Liberals will defend their own.

For me the choice between islam or homosxuality is a no-brainer. I can’t remember the last time a group of uphill gardeners carried out an ‘honour’ killing, treated their womenfolk like chattels or beheaded a heterosexual for liking girls. . . . . .
Maybe no literal physical killings yet (except when private orgies get a little out of hand), but more and more these “gardeners” seem to think the morality of all society is their chattel, to be dragged in the dirt. And that kills souls even if it does not kill bodies. Both are monstrous things in their own way.
I’m no fan of homosexuality, but as threats go, the greater one is clear to me.
Some years ago I’d think the gays at least move slower than the Moose, but it seems their movements are about equally hijackable by extreme radicals. For example, most gays did not WANT gay marriage. They seemed to be happy if everybody else left them alone to carry out their monkey business in private consensuality. What changed?
