Not every one that saith to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven: but he that doth the will of my Father who is in heaven, he shall enter into the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 7:21
Obviously, not only do you have to put Jesus as your Lord of your life, you actually HAVE TO OBEY Him.
I am so thankful, however, that even though none can obey Him perfectly, He forgives those who believe on Him and ask for forgiveness.
“....but he that doth the will of my Father who is in heaven....”
Therein lies the rub.
