I think there is serious doubt, though, that Gingrich is more conservative than Romney. He may have the edge on social issues, but I don’t think he has the edge on economic issues, particularly in light of this “ethical capitalism” point he’s trying to make. After he threw that out, I found myself asking what else I did not know about Gingrich.
Gingrich ought to know by now that if you find yourself locked in a loving embrace with the Donks, there are 99 to 1 odds it’s going to turn out to be a great folly.
You cannot trust newt and that hair trigger mouth.

Ethical Capitalism - I haven’t heard that one, but it makes me wonder should we support unethical capitalism?

As Colonel Jessup said, “ ....because there are things you don’t want to talk about at cocktail parties, you NEED us on that wall.” (Paraphrasing imperfectly, for sure.)
Are you telling me that capitalism can never abuse, or be abused? Are we going to say that we have never, even once, questioned the wealth of say, a George Soros, or Americans from BOTH sides of the aisle, sitting on top of the rule making, loop hole burrowing, for stratisphereic personal gain?
Gingrich has dared to crack the door on the subject. Doing so may likely bury him, but bold as brass he has at least uttered the truth. He himself knows how to work the system. I admit that. But for me, it makes him believable. When Newt exposes the truth, and then shows us examples of how something that has been acceptable on paper, is being corrupted and is not morally right, I get that. Just because it falls under the name of capitalism does NOT mean it can never be corrupted, or now is corrupt.
What do you think?
It is too bad that campaigns use word definitions to redefine reality. The phrase ethical capitalism does not even begin to describe what happened when Bain Capitol began flipping companies, taking their assets and spitting out the employees on the street. If you want a definition of it, Governor Rick Perry comes close: “vulture capitalism.” I call it capitalism gone mutant and turned cancerous. However, this indictment of the business practices of Bain Capitol, are no more an indictment of capitalism than charging that used car dealers are all bad because one turns back the speedometers of all the cars its sells.
If you were more knowledgeable of the world of high finances, you would see the activities of Bain Capitol in a different way. The only thing we should question is when was Romney working with Bain and was he involved in its shady business practices.
You will have to vote for Newt in order to find out what’s in Gingrichcare.
