Moot point - "she's" not going to win.
Even if they don't give "it" the top crown and title, I just don't see how they can avoid giving "it" one of the lesser runners-up positions - entirely for political reasons of course. Failure to do so would instantly cause the entire Miss England Pageant administration and panel of judges to be mercilessly mau-mau'd by all of the "usual suspect" Leftist pressure groups, media hacks and politicians. The entire Pageant staff would be subjected to the full force of the Left's apparatus of personal destruction. The Pageant administration knows this, and I predict they will cave to this pressure of political correctness, which, under a Socialist government, also carries with it the very real danger of a withdrawl of funds as well as TV air time for future Pageants.
That being said, there will be all sorts of cultural damage and fallout from this. On top of completely and visibly corrupting the Pageant and all it stands for, there's the incalculable hurt that this will cause other contestants.
Being a scruffy, flea-infested and rather unkempt male stoat I can only guess at the pain this would cause. I'm thinking that a pretty young Lady who may not completely grasp the entirely political nature of this thing's entry and, at minimum, runners-up crowning would be utterly devastated by it. I'm imagining a young girl who had worked so very hard toward this Pageant thinking "I was beaten by a GUY, and a mentally-defective one at that!" What a terrible thing for a pretty Lady to have to carry with her for the rest of her life.
Such a shame that the other contestants' feelings are apparently not being considered at all in this matter and are being completely overshadowed by the political cancer that the Left inflicts upon everything its tentacles can reach.
