Newt put on a good performance as usual and was well received by the audience. This incident hardly registered and if you didn't have the media pumping it up all day it would have went by without notice.
You are so right!! The mild “boo” was hardly worth mentioning, much less making headlines.
The overblown underwhelming “boo!” is more proof that FauxNews is in the tank for the Mittwit.
They are becoming the Bain of our existence.
romney is toxic. hence he’s the establishment choice to run against the One. That’s the One’s best shot at 4 more years of the One.
Fox said they were not allowed to name their opponents by name and Newt did so in respnse to a question and they (Probably Romney voters) booed so he said “let me reword it.” By the way...I am watching it and can tell you that is exactly what happened and he was well received otherwise. Perry is doing very well here too talking about states rights and the people are clapping over him condemning the justice dept coming in and suing the state over voting rights, etc..
What can we expect from the Romney News Corp
Fair and balanced and all
Romney knee pads co chairs:
Cavuto and Hume
Absolute BS. The audience reacted to the fact that Newt broke the forum rules by mentioning Romney, it was not a “boo”. And it was no big deal, more like a slip-up, Newt rephrased his comment and went on without incident.
It was a minor boo! He recovered quite nicely!
This just goes to show what we as Conservatives are up against. We are going against a stacked deck with the msm, RINOs, Fox News, Drudge and a lot more all pulling for Romney and slanting the news in Mitts favor. Just looked at that BS Reuters online poll today as another example. Newt will not be the status quo in Washington. Mitt will be. GO NEWT GO!
Awarding 4 Pinocchio’s to the headline.
Good grief. The headline/story all day long made it sound like some huge, raucus, vocal rebellion against Gingrich! Figures. FoxNews’ pro-Romney propaganda agenda clearly working overtime. They are becoming embarrassing in their slavishness in carrying the water for Romney.
TBBT,
Don’t know if the actual video is within this thread— but the one minute clip is here.

Faux News is really crossing the line...Newt answered the question asked to him and he did not attack Mittens (who cant take the heat but wont get out of the kitchen) “attacking or even mentioning each other.
Newt Gingrich paid little attention to that rule. When asked to “defend the vilification of companies willing to put capital at risk in order to save failing companies,” the former speaker zeroed in on Mitt Romney.
“Governor Romney ran saying he created 100,000 jobs in the private sector. ... I believe it’s fair to ask that records be clear.”
The hit on Romney backfired. Before Huckabee could finish trying to stop him, the audience drowned out Gingrich with boos.
The hatred on the Fox website for Newt is quite surprising. Reminds me of the insane hatred liberals show for Palin.
HMMMMM Wonder if there is a connection...
THEY ARE VOTING IN OUR PRIMARIES TOO (for Romney, of course)
It was more of a gasp. But after the Newt finished his answer, they applauded much louder than the initial boos.
This is another ‘nothing burger’.
Newt did very good.
As usual the paulnutz jammed the forum and tried to lie about being “undecided”. More than one was in the “questions lineup”.
You had to really listen and listen fast to catch the boo, which was likely from another fake “undecided” supporter.
This is such a disgrace and an injustice to the people ( and to the Fr. Speaker) This hit piece is all over the web as a huge put down for Newt. It is media driven to push those undecided towards Mitt. The insiders do not want Newt near the executive branch. This man knows the constitution.
Yep - this whole “Newt Booed” meme plays only as long as people don’t watch the forum. Newt “almost” broke a rule of the forum, and the audience “almost” said something about it.
Newt and Rick Perry came off as strongest and most presidential.
Santorum, stop wearing the sweater vests. They just make you look stupid. Wear a well-cut suit, instead. There isnt any desire by Americans to have Mr. Rogers and his neighborhood as President.
