Two women will be arraigned Friday on charges stemming from the beating of a teenage girl on a MAX train.
YouTube video from the Dec. 26 attack surfaced this week, sparking outrage in the Portland area. It showed a 14-year-old girl being attacked by three other passengers on a MAX Green Line train in southeast Portland.
The cell phone video also showed others who appeared to be celebrating the attack. It didn't appear that any MAX passengers tried to intervene or stop the attack.
On Thursday, police arrested 38-year-old Selena Harris, her 18-year-old daughter Rakeshia Burns, and Burns' 16- and 13-year-old half-sisters.
The mother is being charged with hindering prosecution because officers said she hid her kids from the police and lied to keep them from getting arrested.
Her daughters are charged with assault, disorderly conduct, riot, harassment and interfering with public transportation.
Police said the YouTube video helped in the investigation -- they shared the video with the Portland Police Bureau's Youth Services Division and began to identify the suspects. Additional tips came in to investigators after the video was seen on local newscasts earlier this week.
Burns and Harris were booked into the Multnomah County Jail and will be arraigned tomorrow.
The two juvenile girls were lodged at the Donald E. Long Juvenile Detention Home.
The simple answer is far too much. In the DFW area, the local mass transit agency made the county hospital district a regular stop on one of the system’s light rail lines. The same individuals that believe someone else should pay for their medical care also believe someone else should ensure they have safe, efficient and taxpayer funded transportation.

Yeah, and notice that she has two half-sisters who are both also teenagers. The 38 year-old “mother” is just a whore populating the country with miscreants who have been taught to hate anyone who isn’t black.

It would not be a problem at all if non-felons and non-crazy people would be allowed—everywhere—to legally carry at least a 9 mm. People would be very polite.
A big job for a petite 14 yr old to take down a big hog of a 38 yr old and her hoglets.
Wow. I live and work in Los Angeles, and I ride the buses every day from West Hollywood to the downtown area and back. I get off in a very gang-infested area. Happily the kids around here seem to be quite nice, however, and so far I haven’t seen anything like that. I’ve been riding the bus for 2 and a half years now. But I’m not in South Central or anything like that. Just downtown.
For those discounting her attack, "airhead" or not, according to her account, she did nothing to provoke the attack. If that is true, her attackers should be prosecuted and punished accordingly.

The girl in this story certainly does a lot better than TOTUS 0bozo. No "uhs" no stammering and very few redundant phrases. Far fewer than the Hildebeast uses in fact.
I tell you what. If you’re so impressed by the young lady, I suggest you use her as a role model for your kids. You know, like, like, like, what I mean?
You’re projecting. She only uses “like” about three or four times. The true definition of an airhead is someone who can’t make a rational argument to defend their claims. Wear the moniker well, airhead.

Yes, she does use ‘like’ a few more times than I said. About one third of the instances she uses it she uses it appropriately. Airhead.
