Good points, but Gingrich and Perry have really stepped in it with their attacks on capitalism. It looks like we are stuck with Santorum by default. At least we know he is pro-life. However, I don't know how he gains the perception of being an alpha male by wearing those sweaters.
“However, I don’t know how he gains the perception of being an alpha male by wearing those sweaters.”
Dunno why people don’t like those sweaters? I’d rather look at what a candidate believes rather than what he chooses to wear.
It’s better to say that their “perceived” attacks on capitalism are hurting them. I don’t know about Newt (I have not read his exact verbiage on the matter), but there is a strong difference between attacking capitalism and attacking poor business practices. I haven’t seen Perry, once, ever attack anyone for being “too rich”, but rather for being unethical and incompetent.
Only Cain really had the real business credentials. Romney has his “wall street” credentials which deserve scrutiny. Newt and Perry have superior credentials when it comes to the State’s role in getting out of the way of business. Any attack on Romney’s record is fair game to eliminate the SOB.
Gingrich and Perry were attacking Romney’s Record, not capitalism.
