Dunno why people don’t like those sweaters? I’d rather look at what a candidate believes rather than what he chooses to wear.
That's great but most voters don't pay even a .25% of the attention to candidates that we do at FR. As a result perception is critical. Santorum is great on life and as a result if stuck with a choice between him and Romney I will vote for Santorum. However, a lot of people see him standing on stages with that "howdy doody smile" and the sleeveless sweaters and he projects an image of a wimp.
It is disquieting how the media makes the process all about show and not about substance. That so many just go along with that is even more disturbing. It's why we ended up with Obama.
