Its hard to say whether Phil Sloan was really pushed out of the business or he was just being a drama queen. Lou Adler had pressured Sloan to sell the rights to his songs to Dunhill, which ruined him financially. Thanks to business problems and mental and physical illnesses, P. F. Sloan disappeared from the scene. But he showed up again in 2005 when he teamed with producer Jon Tiven in Nashville for an album, Sailover. This is an interview with Phil Sloan in 2008.
