Solyndra, after all, collapsed while taking over half a billion dollars in taxpayer money with it, after the Department of Energy illegally subordinated taxpayer risk for later investors mainly an Obama bundler from 2008, George Kaiser. The “green tech ventures” were simply money laundering scams to enrich his cronies and put more cash in democRat re-election coffers.
Why did the Republican House appropriate money for these giveaways in 2012? Mr. Boehner seems unwilling to provide the fiscal leadership the House of Representatives is empowered by the Constitution to exert. Obama cannot spend a penny without it being appropriated by the House. The Republicans have only themselves to blame this year.
