On the heels of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), otherwise known as the "Indefinite Detention Act," comes another draconian bill designed to give the federal government the power to turn American citizens into enemies of the state for virtually any reason it deems necessary. Stephen D. Foster, Jr. has the story.
"Congress is considering HR 3166 and S. 1698 also known as the Enemy Expatriation Act, sponsored by Joe Lieberman (I-CT) and Charles Dent (R-PA). This bill would give the US government the power to strip Americans of their citizenship without being convicted of being 'hostile' against the United States. In other words, you can be stripped of your nationality for 'engaging in, or purposefully and materially supporting, hostilities against the United States.' Legally, the term 'hostilities' means any conflict subject to the laws of war but considering the fact that the War on Terror is a little ambiguous and encompassing, any action could be labeled as supporting terrorism."
Foster goes on to say, "I hope I'm wrong, but it sounds to me like this is a loophole for indefinitely detaining Americans. Once again, you just have to be accused of supporting hostilities which could be defined any way the government sees fit. Then the government can strip your citizenship and apply the indefinite detention section of the NDAA without the benefit of a trial."
See Foster's report.
Ever since Congress passed the Patriot Act back in 2001, it seems the floodgates have been opened for more and more intrusions and abridgements of those fundamental liberties expressly protected in the Bill of Rights. From the Patriot Act, to the Military Commissions Act, to the NDAA (Indefinite Detention Act), and to now the Enemy Expatriation Act (EEA), these big government toadies in Washington, D.C., are clearly and unmistakingly declaring war

These new laws being enacted, and the laws against Treason being ignored.
They used 9/11 in the same way that Hitler used the Reichstag fire. More power— that’s the game, Mr. Reardon.
So if an American citizen (who’s been a citizen their entire life) is stripped of citizenship, what are they a citizen of? Other than the world? What rights will a non-citizen have?
“when that power trip becomes ineffectual, getting a thrill from killing their own citizens.”
I have my own theory on these stupid, ineffectual totalitarian laws. Congress and the Marxist occupying the WH are hoping the military will protect them when it comes time to sweep out the criminal fascist syndicate occupying Washington.
The DC criminals saw what happened when Qaddhafi ordered the military to kill libyans. More than half the army deserted and joined provincial militias, which are equivalent to our state guard.
Qaddahfi loyalists and his elite guard officers were dragged into the streets and hanged. The army chief of staff was hauled into the courtyard and shot. Qaddahfi himself died while face-down on the hood of an SUV, killed with his own gold-plated pistol. Thousands of Qaddhafi loyalists are sitting in militia jails. Their fate is unknown.
This revolt, aided by the military, has scared the crap out of the criminals in Washington. They’re hoping these pieces of fig leaf legislation will protect them. They won’t.
Human nature can’t be changed by a piece of paper. Given the choice of killing my family and neighbors or killing the pig who gave that order, guess which way my weapon will point. If the elite pigs are stupid enough to order the killing of American citizens, they’ll suffer the same fate as Qaddhafi and his goons.
Just growing your own food, canning your food, owning a gun to protect yourself from food thieves, and speaking your mind will become very dangerous.
Good bye America, hello Fascism.
How does this compare to Adams’ Alien and Sedition Act?
I don't know. I suppose we will be hearing much about this in the near future. One of the keys is the expulsion of citizens from the country. I don't know if the Alien and Sedition Act allows that or not.
If you’re not totally dependent on the state for everything, including your personal safety,
you’re a “threat” and a “terrorist”.
So those jackholes that are shutting down our ports can be stripped of their citizenship?
Excellent.
We now have 535 people who have effectively hijacked the US. They are a political autocracy. They do not listen to us, they do exactly as they want and they will protect their power and corruption with whatever means they can find. If you only vote 40-50 new ones in at a time they just get co-opted by the majority and become the beast. Its going to be a challenge to correct this problem.
The Naturalization Act The residence requirement for citizenship moved from five to fourteen years.
The Alien Act The President could deport dangerous aliens at will.
The Alien Enemy Act The president could expel or imprison enemy aliens during times of declared war.
The Sedition Act Any conspiracy against the government including riots and interference with officers would result in a high misdemeanor. This went so far as to stop people from speaking in a false, scandalous and malicious manner against the government.
