Thanks very much, Kathy!

I can't remember the exact quote or who said it, but to paraphrase, it is better to rejoice that we produce such men than to mourn their loss. That quote has resounded in me the last ten or fifteen years as all my uncles and my father, who preserved our freedom in World War II, passed on to their heavenly reward.
They have gone for a while, but will live in us as long as we hold their memories dear and as long as we tell their stories. And at the end of days, we will be with them again for all eternity in the light of the Dear Lord whose Will they obeyed.
