It's legal, so it's OK to rape the taxpayer. Right, I got it.
Actually, I don’t care for Willard at all but the video is nothing more than propaganda.
Let's review, shall we?
1999 - Romney resigns from Bain Capital to become CEO of Salt Lake City Games, February 1999
2001 - GST Steel Plant Closes, Feb 2001
So who's lying now? I don't blame you for not wanting me to post to you any more since it will only show how utterly wrong you are. Support the lies at your own peril. Asinine attacks such as this will only increase Mitt's support.
The SEC documents in King of Bain?
You keep trying though. You may actually have to research something.
Have a nice evening! :-)
Making it up as you go, I see. The idiocy of your claim defies logic. Raytheon purchased the Unimac in 1994. They didn't sell it to Bain until 1998. The video gives the false impression that it was Bain who implemented the poor management decisions in 1994 when in reality they had nothing to do with it.
Telling lies about Mitt Romney (or anyone for that matter) does not help the conservative cause one bit. Playing the class envy card doesn't help either. I expect this type of behavior from the Democrats, but it sickens me to see so-called 'conservatives' employing it here on FR.
From my post, is there some point of fact that you take issue with? Or are you one of those types who run solely on emotion and are unable to analyze the truthfulness of claims made in a propaganda film? Romney was not working for Bain Capital when the KST Steel plant closed. It’s sad really that your emotional makeup does not permit you to accept that simple truth.
Unfortunately, it is woefully deficient in details. The op-ed starts off with this:
First, is just one tale of a Bain deal under Romney. Bain invested just $30 million to take over a company. It then arranged for this company to pay Bain and its investors a special dividend of $180 million or six times the amount of equity capital Bain invested to take control.
Do you know what this deal was or which company it involved? There is no way I can ascertain the veracity of this claim without these most basic of details. I'm simply trying to get to the truth here. Thanks.
ditto
Ditto. I am going to be so pissed off if Romney wins the nomination because of this asinine video. People are going to see this and find out how bogus the charges are, and end up supporting Mitt because of it. Idiots.
Hoodat, I confess that i am wrong on this point. However I am continuing to research this situation as I am not sure that I am ENTIRELY wrong.
That I can accept. I just don't get why you screw that train of thought up by embracing the lies in that video. Let's keep the focus on Mitt's record as governor instead of telling lies about the one positive that Mitt has going for him.
You need to see it to understand what Romney has done!
Watch the 28 min. version, If it doesn’t get your attention vote at will!
That propaganda has IEDS inbedded through out!
Dismiss it at your own peril.
Do the SEC documents show that Romney was working for Bain Capital in 2001? Didn't think so. Unlike you, I actually did research it. Did you notice the links? I have yet to see yours.
Powerful is not the same as truthful.
When I see a video made in the manner in which that one is made, I automatically assume it's false that the author, if he had the facts, would not need to fill his video with shots of broken-down victims, shuttered factories, and obviously out of context quotes from the target. But I am not the sheeple.
True or not, if the video keeps Mittens from being the nominee, that will be a Good Thing.
Thank you for that admission. I would be interested in learning what you find. Unimac was privately owned until they sold out to Raytheon in 1994. I don’t know what price they paid for it. Raytheon sold Unimac, Speedqueen, and Huebsche to Bain Capital for $358 million in 1998.
Sorry, I don't embrace that 'the ends justify the means' philosophy of the left. We can easily keep Mittens from being the nominee without having to lie.
