Former Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin has called for Gov. Mitt Romney to release his tax returns, as well as the data that could substantiate his claim of having created 100,000 jobs as CEO of Bain Capital.
Romney has resisted releasing his tax returns, and his campaign has thus far refused to provide the hard proof to back up his claims about Bain.
Governor Romney has claimed to have created 100,000 jobs at Bain, and people are wanting to know: is there proof? Palin told Sean Hannity on Fox News.
Rick Tyler, former Gingrich aide and head of Newt Gingrichs Super PAC, has already accused Romney of having created those 100,000 jobs in Asia and Mexico. Earlier this week, Big Government pointed out that Romneys claim to have created 100,000 jobs contrasts with claims he made during his 1994 U.S. Senate campaign, when he claimed to have created 10,000 jobs at Bain. Romney retired from Bain Capital in 1999.
Palin said that Romney needed to come clean about his record, given the likelihood that Democrats would probe the tax issue and Romneys tenure at Bain if he were to become the Republican nominee.
The former Alaska governor also told Hannity that she did not think it was inevitable that Romney would become the Republican nominee.
The majority has not yet coalesced around one, she said, adding that conservatives were still searching for the right free market, pro-military candidate to back.

...and these people have to power to do a buy out and Rush will disappear from the air waves.
“Rush has an empire of backchannel connections that could make Romeney a dead issue in a week if he wanted to.”
Maybe this is true, but at this point something sure has Rush by the balls.
In the end—when it comes down to those things which really control you on the deepest level—there’s really no difference between the lock box like the one Hillary uses on various men in her life, and the one a person uses to store his own wealth.
You’re not making sense.
Staples employs 90,000, so I guess he could take some credit for that, as he was a legitimate VC investor - long before Bain became a LBO operation. But I would imagine there were at least 90,000 layoffs as well. It is probably impossible to calculate, which shows what a boneheaded strategy this was for Mittens in the first place.
Meadowmuffins!
He's been on the radio for 20 years criticizing the Clintons and the Chicago politithugs ... around which people have ended up dead in parks! Sorry folks. Rush is presently untouchable.
What he is doing, that you may not want to admit, is called "keeping his powder dry" in the event that he has to get on Mitt's bandwagon.
And what would force him to get on that bandwagon?
“I read yesterday that Bain owns Clear Channel.”
Oh, my! Suspicious.
Still, I would hope that Rush wouldn’t compromise even if that were the case. He’s Rush; he could go to any broadcasting organizaion and not skip a beat. Of course, a president whom Rush didn’t support could try to make his life a living hell later on.
Sarah Palin ping list if you haven’t already
Your speculation raises some very interesting questions.
For starters: what powers exist that can still tell Rush what he can and can’t say (in terms of political content)?
Bingo!
1) I’m glad to see Palin finally getting into the fray.
2) SC should be the cutoff for conservatives to quit splitting their vote and get behind a single anti-Romney candidate, or sure as **** the nominee will be Romney.
3) If it takes Palin endorsing someone to force conservatives to get behind a single candidate, then so be it. She may not endorse the particular person I’d want, but right now I’d rather have any of the current field over Romney.

Big deal. A bunch of tech saavy clerks and cashiers being paid minimum to hawk a bunch of stuff made in China.
I want to see true job creation, true CREATION of the manufacture of a PRODUCT — or with the intentions thereof. Not the “manufacture” of an “investment” which may or may not require Americans living in America to operate.
2. Clear Channel needs EIB Network, not the other way around.
3. Clear Channel would have astronomical financial losses if they attempted to stifle Rush.
Wrong. Clean Channel is owned by Bain. It was all over Twitter and the wires yesterday.
This is not all they can or have come up with...how about Romney being the first Governor in the USA to implement SOCIALIZED medicine in his state. Obama loves it and claims it was the foundation for his Obamacare. Thank you Mitt ROMNEY.
Also, to all the christians that wont vote for Newt due to his divorces...what about Romneys faith? will he have to abandon the Mormon faith to serve as commander in chief? and yes, that is an important issue since serving as commander in chief is the primary duty of our president.

Absolutely. And he knows that time will come.
oh my gosh this post took my breath away... Rush has disappointed me so greatly... and what you said is exactly what is happening to him... I have been trying to figure it out myself... thanks.
Now this is what the candidates should have been doing all along!!
GO SARAH!!
