Easy! If Mitt manages to win the nomination, that's what!

Rush will be banging the Romney drum daily for whoever wins the nom. Guar - ohn - teeed.

Rush is a businessman first. A rich playboy second. An idealogue third.

And by the way, for anyone who thinks Romney and Obama would be no different. Maybe from our peon perspective.

But not from Rush’s perspective.

Rush, if he endorses the nominee correctly, will have some influence and access to the White House inner circles.

If Obama wins, then Rush will obviously not have access and will actually be weakened some in influence.

Palin is already out of access with any of the campaigns on the right, and her influence is limited now to these twitterbytes.

All these decisions Rush is making are ten levels beyond any pissant call he may get from someone from Bain. And nobody at Bain would risk losing a golden goose.
