Campaign 2012: By choosing to head his policy council with an open-borders advocate and former leader of the Hispanic activist group favoring amnesty, the president has signaled a divide-and-conquer re-election campaign .
In another move aimed at aiding his re-election, President Obama on Tuesday announced that Cecilia Munoz, a former senior vice president of the National Council of La Raza (NCLR), would replace Melody Barnes as head of his Domestic Policy Council.
Hispanics are a key part of the coalition Obama and a key part of his re-election strategy will no doubt be to portray Republicans and others who advocate border security and stronger immigration enforcement as racists. Munoz's appointment is a part of that strategy.
It's a strategy that includes suing states like Arizona over laws that in fact mirror federal law but which the feds refuse to enforce. Also part of the strategy is the Justice Department's targeting of Maricopa County, Ariz., Sheriff Joe Arpaio, accusing him of violating federal law and the Constitution in his department's handling of Hispanics.
Coming soon after the U.S. Supreme Court agreed to hear the case of Arizona's immigration and border enforcement law, SB1070, it smacked of retaliation.
The NCLR, whose name translates as "the race," is a tax-exempt nonprofit that describes itself as "the largest national Hispanic civil rights and advocacy organization in the United States." It most recently led in vocal opposition against Arizona SB 1070, a law attacked by Attorney General Eric Holder as a discriminatory incarnation of profiling that usurped federal authority over immigration policy.

As a VP at La Raza, Cecilia Munoz advocated allowing union membership as a way for illegals to establish ‘residency’ and enjoy their human rights.

Unfortunately, these days, La Raza is seen as a mainstream Hispanic organization rather than the racist organization a lot of us think they are.
Don't believe me?
Obama addressed their national council in 2011.
Rick Perry addressed the same council in 2010.
2008? Yep, John McCain graced them with his presence.
Before that - both Karl Rove and George W. Bush addressed them.
10 years of Republican leaders kissing up to them, they can't be all that bad, can they?

There's no more stealth or covertness about it; this is a have's vs. have-not's Election in 2012, and it's going to get really nasty before November.
Ignoring parts of Laws that don't buy votes, implementing special-interest favoritism (Obamacare waivers to Unions), bailing out Union Pension Funds, allowing Illegals free access to ALL benefits paid for by U.S. Citizens, handing OBAMA MONEY to blacks for whatever (Pigford Settlement, ignoring Black Panther Thug voter intimidation), sissy-fying the Military to let sex deviates run free, and giving them Marital Benefits, while refusing to enforce the DOMA, and Holder vowing to take care of "Our People".
Make no mistake, the Fraud in November this year will be legendary, and IF The Messiah loses this election, there may be riots in the inner-cities, and they will be stoked by the State-Run-Media.
The problem for us is, if Romney-the-RINO is the Nominee, we have our choice of the lesser-of-two-Liberals, and not much would change in the Agenda.

Yes, back when he was running against Al Gore, he addressed La Raza (NCLR), I believe during their 2000 National Council.

Bush, the governor of Texas and son of former President George Bush, told the National Council of La Raza annual conference he wanted immigrants to the United States to be welcomed with open arms rather than by a hostile Immigrant and Naturalization Service bureaucracy, as is often the case today.
We will bring to the INS a new standard of service and culture of respect, Bush told the nonprofit organization, which seeks to reduce poverty and increase opportunity for Hispanics.
To: af_vet_rr
I did not know that, but I thought you meant while he was in the Oval Office. He had a Hispanic group visiting the White House

This administration is like the movie "Blazing Saddles" where Hedley LaMar puts Bart (Clevon Little) in for Sheriff of Rock Ridge getting the Gov. (Mel Brooks) to sign off knowing that his mere presences will cause the opposite of law & order.
Not sayin the "Flying O" has a clue (Just like the Mel Brooks character) O is is more like Heady LaMar. I am thinking that the plagiarist is more like the Governor, clueless.
