WASHINGTON (AP) -- President Barack Obama said Wednesday he wants to reward companies that invest in America and eliminate tax breaks for companies that don't, and he's planning new tax proposals to do it.

Probably because they either don't exist or haven't been fully focus group tested. The uncertainly around the full effect of Obamacare and his regulatory policies are the job killers.

Is Obama picking winners and losers here? You can’t help but KNOW that the winners in this game are going to be companies who cough up the most campaign cash toward Obama’s re-election.
We’ve been down this road before.
Odumbo is going to pick winners and losers again? Get out of the way of the American people you ignorant commie dirt bag piece of crap.
There's a BIG election coming up doncha know.
How about he pack up his angry wife and head back to the mother land.

Government interference in the market always fails. When will people figure this out? All over the country we have states, cities, and towns engaged in so-called economic development that is nothing more than Soviet-style planning with a Chamber of Commerce face.

I guarantee this will be just another scam designed to funnel taxpayer money to his cronies and financial backers and to punish his enemies.
It’s too late. Capital is fleeing our country - including much of my own.
Next business will be outside the country...
Yep. A classic shakedown.
Unless they make a contribution to the DNC to secure a "waiver".

Brassieres made from oil? Interesting.
Protectionist!
(That's what "free traders" used to yell at anyone who opposed sending "buggy-whip" jobs to China.)
Though New Democrat, Third Way progressives also favor "free trade" the establishment Republicans had better be able to 'splain why they support offshoring production of goods and services.
