Once again, Rick Perry is the only candidate standing by his statements

Does that mean he still believes we don't have a heart if we don't agree with him on in-state tuition for the criminal immigrants?

I did notice that he took down the Romney ringtone off his campaign website, the one that has Romney talking about liking to be able to fire people. Why'd he do that if he stands by what he said?

More and more this whole lot is looking like “The Gang That Couldn’t Shoot Straight.”

Do you REALLY think Perry even knows how to put on a ringtone?...much less had anything to do with it?

Anyway, you are about 2 or 3 months behind...you're still hung on "heartless."

In your "heartless" you know Perry is right!

Are you still beating that dead and horribly mangled corpse.

It’s been explained so many times. the only thing Rick Perry did wrong was use the emotional argument.

He should have explained it as a pragmatic decision which is what it was. He didn’t lead the fight on this anyway, simply signed a bill that the Texas legislature had approved by almost a total majority.

The theory was that illegals in Texas are feeding at the trough. Although most of them work and work hard, they work at low-paying, mostly manual labor jobs, so the children who are born in the USA are entitled to certain benefits, including medicaid and food stamps. And they don’t pay taxes, except sales and SS.

The theory was that if such children met strict criteria, graduated high school with good average, were on the track to become citizens and so on, they could be eligible for in-state tuition rates.

They were not given free tuition. they just paid in-state rates which helped them and helped the colleges.

The hope was that we could move some of these kids into better paying jobs so that they would contribute to Texas economy and not just bleed it.

And, by the way, this was done ten years ago.

And, by the way again, this is not exclusive to Texas.

Perry haters have about 4 dead horses they drag out to beat when anyone says anything favorable about Perry.

It’s pathetic.
