Rick Perry had an indisputably rough night in New Hampshire. In fact, tonight, his eyes were entirely on South Carolina, and, on Hannity tonight, he didn’t even bother to talk about New Hampshire. But his night got worse as Sean Hannity challenged him on his claims that Mitt Romney was a “vulture capitalist”– going so far as to claim that Perry sounded like a member of Occupy Wall Street.
Perry began the segment attacking President Obama, but Hannity quickly shifted gears to the “very harsh words” Perry has had for Romney. “It almost sounds like Occupy Wall Street,” he noted, “it doesn’t sound like someone who is governing Texas as a conservative.”
“There is a real difference between venture capitalism and vulture capitalism,” Perry replied, adding that “venture capitalism we like; vulture capitalism, no.” He justified his attacks saying that “the fact of the matter is he’s going to have to face up to this at some time or another.” Hannity wasn’t satisfied with this answer, asking Perry whether he was saying “that Mitt Romney is a vulture capitalist, that he is unethical.” Perry specified that he thought what happened with two specific companies bought by Bain was “irresponsible,” and that “the folks in South Carolina agree with that.” Hannity replied that it was still “as severe as they can get” as far as attacks go, though Perry insisted there were places where Bain had “destroyed people’s lives.”
The segment via Fox News below:
My FReeper friends from Texas tend to speak highly of Governor Perry. He’s not my first choice (Santorum is) but clearly he’s better than Romney and someone I could vote for with a clear conscience.
The problem is that too many people have been bamboozled by Myth’s pretend middle-of-the-road appeal. Informed people know that the man is a leftist. We’re running out of time to try to wake people up. And that ain’t good.
“I saw that same look on Hannitys face when he interviewed Perry while Cain was making accusations that Perrys staff was behind his woman problems. The whole interview, Hannity stared at Rick like he was looking at a serial killer or something. The sheer hatred was palpable.”
So he must have a problem with Perry, then. Maybe it’s a height thing. I met Sean once, and he’s a midget.
Romney is all big buck and talk and no walk. At least Rick Perry has plenty of cattle under that hat.

Calling names without even refuting the point. Brilliant.
You are confusing Zorg with actual economists.
At the least you might want to look up the term before replying again. Save yourself further embarrassment.
You called me a communist. take a hike sport
Why? On this issue hannity is right and Perry is wrong. Capitalism is good. greed is good.
Santorum, my firend is not my candidate!!! I want one thing, and....one thing only, and.....that is for hate America, destroy America, POTUS Barack Hussein Obama and his disgusting, racist, elitist, wife Michelle, to disappear into the cesspool of obscurity, forevermore by virtue of devastating political defeat, come November, 2012. I do not carw which candidate does it, just do it!!!
However, Gingrich and Perry are true “dirt bags” IMHO!!! And....I have supported both and voted for Perry in TX many times, but....neither Perry or Newt Gingrich know squat about venture investment!!! Neither will ever get my support again!!!
However, it is still a free country, so....my friend, do whatever you please and I will defend your right to do it, even if I do not agree with you!!!
It's one thing to say more government is not the answer, and quite another thing to say corporate raiding is praiseworthy.
I said you sound like a commie. I was hoping you were just being misunderstood.
Still haven’t refuted the point so I guess you concede it.
I hike on my own terms sport.
I don’t care what you hope. You have no points to refute. You simply throw attacks out to get a response and pretend to know what you are talking about.
The love of money is the root of all evil. Refute that
This is the second time Perry has channeled democrats. The first time was during his first debate when he said Republicans were being heartless not supporting free tuition for illegals.
There is also a vast gulf between govt control and corporate raiding. Its not an either / or question. Romney didn’t build anything with these raids. He took an asset and extracted any value from that asset regardless of who was hurt. He didn’t build or grow anything except pain and misery.
A lot of romneybots here today, must have been an increase in payroll on his campaign recently.
Creative destruction is capitalism is the point.
You confused said point with a movie character so not surprised you can’t refute it.
I know it’s tough to admit when you’re wrong but maybe next time you reply to someone with “no it isn’t” you will be prepared to back it up.
Unlistenable, he is. /Yoda mode
No confusion, you had no point so you started throwing out insults. When you couldnt handle the response you channeled fictional characters from a movie you watched in your mommy’s basement.
You didn’t seek clarification for my ‘no it isn’t statement’, you chose instead to throw childish insults. Which is why I used the term sport with you, it indicate you are clearly light in the loafers.
>> The first time was during his first debate when he said Republicans were being heartless not supporting free tuition for illegals.<<
That’s crap and you should know it. He described the situation (which was that they would pay IN-STATE tuition, not FREE tuition) and claimed that anyone who would treat them more severely had no heart. These were the CHILDREN of parents who came here illegally, after all, children who had no control over their parents’ action, and who had graduated from Texas high schools. Since nearly ALL of the Texas Republican legislators, where the bill originated, voted FOR it, maybe you should re-examine the issue before spouting off about it again.
The border control issue is clear; we have lost control of it. Perry is strongly in favor of re-establishing that control (unlike Bush), but he at least has the sense to consider how real people’s lives will be affected as we go about the process.
I can't stand Romney.
So Sean, Perry wasn’t wrong after all.
Thank you for the link. What a strange story, a dog carrier with a windshield.......
