The only thing Rick Perry can accomplish is to siphon votes away from a more viable conservative.

0.7% Perry needs to drop out. That will give more time in the debates to Gingrich and Santorum. :)

I voted for Perry here in Iowa.
But with less than 1%; he is done. The window to stop Romney is narrowing very fast.
It is looking like we will have vomit in the back of our throats in November, and a terrible choice to make.

How did we get to this point? Why do we have no viable conservative candidates?

New Hampshire has a little over 1 million people. We are a country of 300 million people, so New Hampshire has 1/3 of a percent of the voters. Mitt Romney got 36% of the vote in a state that has 1/3 of a percent of the people in this country. How can you say this is significant?

"Tonight's results in New Hampshire show the race for 'conservative alternative' to Mitt Romney remains wide open.

Rick, the only thing that remains wide open is South Carolina's primary.

What in the Hell are Perry and Gingrich thinking, staking their campaigns on South Carolina, a state with an open primary where everybody knows the Demorats and Libertarians are going to cross over for Willard and RuPaul.

The pathetic thing is that Republicans in the state are only now realizing how bad this is, and they are filing lawsuits and creating legislation to close the primaries in time for 2016. At least they are doing that, but damn why didn't something think about this back in 2008??

I just saw Hannity absolutely sandbag Perry in an interview. Hannity’s rudeness was inexcusable. “Are you actually saying Governor Romney wasn’t ethical? Why are you doing this? What do you think you can gain from this?” That sawed-off little blockheaded Romney lover. Then he went on to interview Tim Pawlenty, and the two of them gushed about this historic night for Romney, and what a miserable person Perry is. Fox News makes me sick.

I am getting sick of hearing that pointing out lousy business ethics means one is denigrating capitalism.

When rounding down to the nearest point lands you at zero, it’s time to go back to Texas, seems to me.

Perry needs to drop out NOW! If he doesn't, he will be 2012’s version of Fred Thompson, who gave us John-rino-McCain.

GET OUT NOW, Perry, and let those votes go to Santorum or Gingrich, preferably the latter.

“South Carolina is the next stop. I have a head start here, and it’s friendly territory for a Texas governor and veteran with solid outsider credentials, the nation’s best record of job creation, and solid fiscal, social and Tea Party conservatism.”

Note to Gov Perry: the people of SC can read all about your record on the internet, too. You won’t be foolin them.

They won’t like a Gov who would intro the muslim culture curriculum into their schools. They won’t like a Gov who would override a parents’ choice to force their child to take a drug from your drug company pals.

So, if I were you, I wouldn’t set my place mat at the table, just yet. Best pray they don’t do proper research. You might catch them sleepin. Or, then again, you might not. Whatever you do, don’t let them find out. Overwhelm them with your Texas charm. You just might get a pass, after all. You never know.

As much as I Like Santorum, I am increasingly suspicious that he is in it as a spoiler for Mittens, and essentially auditioning for Mitt’s VP slot. I really, really hope I am wrong about that. If he suddenly does something to bludgeon Mittens and effectively, genuinely hurt Mittens, then I will revise and extend my remarks. In any event, I have concluded that Rick is not quite ready for prime time.
