I've been telling this to pompous vegans for years:

"Vegetable Rights: an issue for our time.

"You DO realize that the bulk of human food comes from the reproductive organs and unborn children of penniless innocent plants? Why, at least I have the decency to kill my food BEFORE I eat it; while you thoughtless vegans munch those salad greens ALIVE, cold-heartedly. Why, if I put some EEG electrodes on those leaves, we could see the registration of their pain!!!
