You're too stupid and unsophisticated to understand.

Ike should be remembered for his historic day.
D-Day. And the fall of Germany.
Screw the leftard detractors.

Cousin Ike described himself as ‘the most religious man’ he knew. That alone would raise the contempt level in the postmodern art class.

Gehry saddled us with that monstrosity in Seattle at Seattle Center.
If you haven’t seen it, it is truly horrible. It is a building housing the Experience Music Project - which is a melted guitar over the track of the monorail there.
Ugly doesn’t begin to describe it.

Whadda goof. If you pick Gehry to memorialize anybody but himself, you lose!

What dolt tasked the “architect” whose buildings look like crumpled trash on the outside and are always full of waste space for lack of square corners on the inside to produce a memorial for anyone?
If we wanted a non-representational memorial for Eisenhower, we should have gotten someone who actually has a record of designing beautiful things like. . . like. . . well most “architects” are out even if they aren’t as bad as Gehry. . . “artists”. . .no. . . I know, the English fellow who heads Apple’s design department and just got knighted for his design work.

It reminds one of an aisle end-cap display at Target.

There are no great men; there are no great virtues; there is no great striving; nor is there great accomplishment or great service to others.
..........................................................
They must have decided this after they put that ugly Chinese Statue of Martin Luther King up.
Without doubt the ugliest sculpture of a man I ever saw.

Now there’s a proper monument. Bring back Beaux Arts neoclassicism and McKim, Mead and White!
To: Servant of the Cross
There's a similar statue in London, in Grosvenor Square in front of the U.S. Embassy. That's the kind of memorial Ike deserves.
