A mixed martial arts fighter from Minnesota has been knocked out from his job as an assistant wrestling coach following comments he made about President Obama last month, he told FoxNews.com.
Jacob Volkmann, 31, of White Bear Lake, Minn., said he was placed on paid administrative leave on Friday by the White Bear Lake School District after he invited Obama to make an appointment with him for a "glass-ectomy" on Dec. 30.
"A glass-ectomy is when you cut your belly button out and put a piece of glass in there so when you have your head up your butt you can see where you're going," Volkmann told a reporter following his victory over Efrain Escudero at UFC 141.
Volkmann said at least one parent contacted school officials and complained about his latest comments regarding the commander in chief. In 2011, Volkmann was visited by the Secret Service after he said Obama was "not too bright" and that "someone's got to knock some sense into that idiot." No charges were filed.
"I went to practice on Friday and they wanted to meet before practice," he told FoxNews.com. "They said, as of now, you cannot be around the kids."
Volkmann, who has not been contacted by the Secret Service for his latest anti-Obama tirade, said the comments were intended as a "joke" but stood by the remarks.
"The thing is, the joke was made to make people look at why I said it," he continued. "I only have a few seconds on air, so I need to make them count. [But] I feel that way. It was just a joke."
Volkmann said he'll consider contacting an attorney if his mandated leave lasts longer than two weeks. He has worked as an assistant wrestling coach at the 8,100-student school district for four years...

MN ping!
But if it happened during the Bush presidency he would have been hailed a hero and given a raise and a promotion.
With Obama, that would give him a womb with a view...
This seems patently anti-first amendment.
I guess I will see the results of matches with North High, and Oakdale Tartan, and other teams vs. The WBL team. I expect the loss of a coach for the team will cause more problems for the kids at WBL.
Go Polars!
Best of the day!!!!!
Thanks
If obozo’s muslim ss goons paid him a visit for that it is pure intimidation tactics.

“Progressives”...racing backward in time...
lèse majesté,
....is an insult or offense to a head of state. The term has traditionally been used in reference to monarchs in particular, although people can potentially be prosecuted for lese majeste if they insult a government or national leader. At one time, numerous nations had laws on the books which provided severe punishments for people who offended the monarch, although the decline of monarchies has led to a corresponding decline in such laws.
The concept of lese majeste as a legal term arose during the Roman Empire, when it was first codified as an action with distinct legal repercussions. Many monarchies adopted the concept, subjecting citizens to penalties if they insulted the monarch in some way. Lese majeste can range from being disrespectful to the monarch in his or her presence to making defamatory statements in public. It could loosely be defined as a lack of proper respect for the monarch. Monarchs are viewed as figures of respect because in addition to being heads of state, they are also part of a nation’s history and heritage.
Yup.
He just hit the jackpot.
Lawyers will be parachuting into his backyard trying to be the first to land him as a client.
Slam dunk win in court.
WELCOME TO FREE REPUBLIC’S MINNESOTA PING LIST!
149 MEMBERS AND GROWING...!
FREEPMAIL ME IF YOU WANT ON OR OFF THIS LIST!
Very typical of the WBL school district. I grew up and attended all of the WBL schools (excepting some primary schools - of which I attended 4 between K-6). You could not question authority one bit! if you did and proved them wrong, it was as if you enraged the gestapo.
It was bad in the 70s and 80s, I imagine it has only gotten worse.
I’m sure the ACLU is breaking down his door.(sarc)
