The fairness of it just doesn’t matter in politics. This is fresh, delicious, red, flowing blood in the water and the timing couldn’t be worse for Mittney. Not only is it the day before the election but it’s the same week the heat is finally being turned up on him for his record at Bain where he did fire people. This will almost certainly go down as one of the top gaffes of the entire election year. If Mittney can get up there in the debates and say Newt was “forced out” of the House, a blatant lie, then I’m not going to feel sorry for him for being targetted for this.

Agree and Romney slammed Newt with a barrage of negative ads in Iowa which in number along was extreme and by doing so triggered a slew of negative ads coming back his way! Reap what you sow!

Yup, don’t feel a bit sorry for him. Stupid to give such sound bites to LSM or other opponents. He started it, especially in Iowa.

Like he said, politics ain’t bean bag, and if you can’t stand the heat....
