I had hoped for the opportunity to get up to that project at Adak, but alas... My wife and I lived aboard our sailboat for four years while working at a resort on Orcas Island in the San Juans between the NW corner of Wash. state and Victoria Island. We made it about halfway up to Alaska on our various cruises. It was certainly a beautiful area...
