Hes worth $250million and is running for the White House, but Mitt Romney is still trying to portray himself as an ordinary down-to-earth guy. The GOP presidential candidate has been condemned for saying he has been worried about getting a pink slip at least twice in the past. Opponents said this was a poor statement to give about job termination notices because Mr Romney has always had money to fall back on.

“I certainly am not saying that Romney one way or another but to blanket say that it is impossible to feel for people who lose a job is ridiculous”
One of the most satisfying days of my life was when I learned that the fellow who had given me a pink slip was gone 2 months later(rumors were they were for “conflict of interest and ethical reasons). I now wonder if he didn’t throw me under the bus in an effort to save his butt.

Can you IMAGINE the job the OWS media/lib/dem establishment is going to do to this Richie Rich if he ever gets the nomination? It will be a BBQ roast all the way to the election...he will be portrayed as a total 1%-er and crucified by his thumbs.
PAleese, SHEEP .... get out of the pasture and THINK!!!

Romney sucks. But last time I checked, Obama was a multimillionaire too. Yet we never see headlines with that qualification.

As is Sarah Palin.
Is there anyone running who isn’t (and no I haven’t check all of their financials)?
The earlier poster is correct, class warfare sounds the same regardless of which side of the aisle you sit on.

That happens a lot. If you are a moral person and see some “unethical stuff” and decide to do the right thing, many times “you become the villain”. I am glad that you did the right thing and the guy ended up getting the boot. I hope that you are doing well now.

He better also get advertising and testimonials from people whose companies and jobs were saved by Bain because Obama is already finding everyone who was ever laid off after Bain took over. Even if they were going to be laid off the week Bain took over and the take over extended their jobs six months, Obama will lay it all in Romney's lap.

Obviously but then again I'm not the one claiming to be a conservative while while using class warfare attacks.

Not sure what Palin has to do with it. But I think you missed my point. I agree with you. They are all millionaires. And class warfare is what leftists do.
Yet many here are buying into the meme. Even referring to the bogus commie term '1%ers.' LOL!
Bottomline, Romney sucks because he's a flip flopping liberal RINO. Not because he was successful in the private sector.

How did the R party create such a mess, that this clown is our leading contender right now?
Where are the bright, articulate conservatives? Instead we have Romney.

Robert Byrd used to crack me up when he started rambling on about growing up without indoor plumbing of electricity as a means of showing how poor he was. The problem is that when he was a kid, the majority of Americans lived the same way.
