note to unit armorers: look inside the cases when you inventory, don’t just assume that the items are actually in the case.

Left a PVS4 out of its case after a FX.Armorer found out late.Platoon Sgt. wanted blood and C.O. wanted to hang me.Battalion was ready for four day weekend.It was in my humvee.I ran it back through our quad as hundreds of fellow soldiers gave me hell.Never lived it down but learned my lesson after “counseling”.It made me a better soldier.Been through many lock-downs.They suck.
