Left a PVS4 out of its case after a FX.Armorer found out late.Platoon Sgt. wanted blood and C.O. wanted to hang me.Battalion was ready for four day weekend. It was in my humvee.I ran it back through our quad as hundreds of fellow soldiers gave me hell.Never lived it down but learned my lesson after “counseling”.It made me a better soldier.Been through many lock-downs.They suck.

yeah, my unit lost a few things here and there too. Lockdown was never pleasent. I imagine this unit is hating life right about now.

Been through many lock-downs.They suck. Yep. I remember one incident in particular. Our Inf Bn just came off a week long ARTEP. One of our companies came up short a bayonet. The entire Bn was locked down for 12 hours looking for it but it never surfaced. The Bn Cdr rolled the entire unit back to the field to scour the terrain for the missing bayonet. It "magically" appeared within an hour after we were back in the field.
