Supporters of Newt Gingrich have bought the rights to a new short movie that is very critical of Mitt Romneys tenure as head of Bain Capital.
Romneys business career made him a very wealthy man, but has come under some criticism because Bain bought some companies and put them out of business.
The movie, called King of Bain, When Mitt Romney Came to Town, has not been distributed, but has been viewed by ABC News. It was made by former Romney supporters and intersperses interviews with some workers who blame Romneys company for losing their jobs with ominous music. At one point it focuses on K.B. Toys, which made money for Bain even as it closed stores.

Intentionally over-borrowing knowing that your objective is to sock away fees while paying creditors pennies on the dollar is not free market capitalism. It is corruption.
Romney was a corporate raider. But I have no problem with that at all. Business is Business. Corporate raiders serve their purpose, culling weak inefficient companies. No one likes cockroaches but they do us a favor by eating (crap). Just gotta keep them out of your house. Especially if your house is White. ;)
It’s his crap tenure as Governor that bothers me.
I don’t think this line of attack will hurt Romney in the primaries but it’s something Obama would jump on in the general.
You might appreciate the movie MARGIN CALL.
You don't need "liberal sources" in order to quote someone's record, which is what the PAC did. Also, Senator Tom Coburn is well-known as one of the most conservative legislators in office and he revealed Gingrich's record in an unflattering light in his book, Breach of Trust.
I'm not sure the anti-Romney crowd is all that "conservative" anyway.
One thing is for sure, Romney is Obama Lite...
Establishment Republicans are appalled at Gingrich’s attacks, not because of their scope or source, but because they exist.
They feel Romney is their man and can’t believe that somebody has the audacity to attack Romney. Even after Romney’s hit job on Gingrich.
Get over it. Mittens brought the heat and now he needs to stay in the kitchen on clean up.
If he can’t survive Primary attacks he won’t survive Obama’s attacks.
Deal with it.

I’m new to this site. It’s puzzling to see people here using liberal class warfare arguments to attack Romney. Why not just attack him on his many liberal policies?
Explain how corporate raiding relates to the supply side Growth economics that conservatives have hung their hats on.
Corporate Raiding is not growth economics. Is it a nasty part of market economies? Yes.
Does that make it right? No.
Romney did the same thing to Newt, used liberal sources and lines of attacks on Gingrich, twisting events and so forth.
If Romney can’t defend himself Obama will destroy him. Give him a chance to defend himself.
“If Romney is vulnerable to these types of attacks in the general election (and I think this is Obamas only hope of winning) then its best to come out with it now.”
I only watched half, but it seems that the first two companies affected were healthy. If they’d been distressed when Bain came in, and still did not succeed, then that would be understandable. But it disturbs me that Romney, et al., took over growing companies and killed them. Apparently, from day one Bain began the demise. Free enterprise... I get it... but it’s generally sleazy.
It would be great if Romney weren’t our candidate — and maybe he won’t be — because Obama’s machine will be playing this movie 24/7 before November.
With that cast I’m surprised I’ve never heard of it.
