I think the general expectation was for Romney to have some dents and scars after the debate and no one was able to lay a glove on him since no one really tried. This is unfortunate.

Sarah is right. I’ve been saying this all along. Bain Capital is a deal breaker for him and the Mormon thing a total unknown factor. Can’t take a chance with Mitt. Besides, he is so smarmy and plastic-like a used car salesman trying to hawk snake oil.

The administration is desperate to run against Romney, because he is one of the ONLY Republicans running that they can beat.

And the only one they could easily live with as President because he will govern from the left.

I’m so sick of hearing “No one laid a glove on Romney.” Who gives a rat’s patootie? Most aren’t watching these stupid debates anyway - I’m not. I only care about the candidates’ platforms and records on the issues. I think Savage is right - the GOP is committing suicide by agreeing to these leftist debates.

Thanks for the ping. Sarah has been an excellent political analyst. Trying to look at the facts and be objective. She is no political hack. Sarah’s time will come!

That was unfortunate. For the life of me, I don't know what the other candidates are waiting for. They've been through lots of these debates, and know that the MSM is sheltering Romney because they've already chosen him to be Obama's punching bag in the general.

Why in the hell aren't they slicing Mitt to ribbons on his liberal record and phony conservatism? It'd be all too easy to do. The basic talking points have been repeated endlessly on this very website for months on end. Most of us can recite them, if asked, and Jim Rob can reel them off in his sleep!

What is wrong with these people? Don't they understand that it's their solemn DUTY to knock this charlatan pretender out of OUR primary?

HaHaHaHaHa! You’re always so funny when you hit your grand slams! You’re so right on both counts! I am just now watching the replay because I recorded the fiasco. I’m going to take to my couch, so that I can awake early to watch tomorrow’s “debate.”

Check this out..

donnabrazile Donna Brazile

If you fear Romney in 2012, you must be a conservative Republican. When the GOP takes him on, we should do the same. Off to night nite.

Dang, even a far left hack like Brazile is right..Hey GOP, ya listening?? The left NEVER feared Romney, heck even McCain confuses him with Obama

Mitt is Obama-lite. Just as arrogant, and just as crooked.

I think tonight’s debate was the first time ever I actually favored watching the Kardashians instead LOL..When will Republicans learn to stop bending over to liberals and show up at these ridiculous debates..Diane Sawyer looked wasted, but she always looks like she is high on something. I guess she didn’t want to be there, it was either be at the debate or stare at her life size cut out of Obama in her bedroom

“you can’t win Florida by spending $22,000 like he did in Iowa.”
Especially when Florida is controlled by the Bush/GOP establishment elites with the full backing if all their organization & money.
I don’t think endorsements matter in this election. Money doesn’t seem to matter much either.

I saw that too. It confirmed what I always believed: the Dems are hawking the idea they fear Romney TGE mist, in fact they know he would be the easiest to beat.

It does not matter if Romney can neutralize the dem base or not. He is a democrat in all but label only. A DIABLO in the office of president is worse than having a democrat. The republicans in congress will at least make a show of fighting the democrats. But with a DIABLO like Romney, the RINOs will join with the democrats to pass every single thing he proposes. Then they will attack the conservatives even more than the democrats. We will end up with exactly what the democrats planned, only without any struggle or chance for debate at all, even if the republicans are a majority in both houses. The conservatives will be ridiculed and marginalized by both parties but when these liberal plans blow up and fail, the republican party will get the blame.

Donna Brazile is far left, but she is not a hack. She is a very smart political analysts. But not smart enough to keep it to herself. Letting it slip from her and Stephie let the cat out if the bag too soon.

Yeah the problem is elitists in the GOP are NOT going to listen. They all want Romney to be the nominee, even Fox News, they trash Santorum constantly I mean they really want to bring the guy down, a blind squirrel could see it..I wonder what their reaction to Sarah’s statements will be..probably something along the line of “Sarah Palin does not speak for our network, we are 100 percent committed to kissing as much of Mitt Romney’s ass as humanly possible.”(I posted that on C4P and they thought it was hysterical LOL)
