Is anyone else concerned about the stupidity and complete lack of morals in such a large segment of our population? If adult aren't killing their families off, they are pulling dumb, heartless stuff like this.
Good grief. Stuff like this brings out an anger/disgust in me that I didn't know I had.

Even if it was a “warm shed” it would have been negligent and stupid. Probably would have treated their pet dogs or cats better than that.

Why not simply put the kids to bed in their room?
To: Valpal1
As awful as it is to say, those poor innocent kids are better off in state custody than in that mess of a household.

"Why not simply put the kids to bed in their room?" Clearly, the kids wouldn't be able to sleep with a noisy party going on; so it was a kind of compassionate stupidity.

They place the children with other family “not involved with the party” whatever that means.
It is by no means clear that the kids are better off or in state custody. Most states make family reunification their primary focus so its highly likely these poor kids will suffer through multiple foster placements while their parents do a bit of jail and then treatment, counseling and parenting classes to get their kids (and welfare) back.
These kids will probably never get a fair shake at a functional family. I’ve thought for years that kids with druggie parents should just be immediately put up for adoption and given a real chance for a normal home life.

Ive thought for years that kids with druggie parents should just be immediately put up for adoption and given a real chance for a normal home life. I agree completely, for serious druggies like these at least. I've seen kids from such households. They are ruined before they hit their teens, and never seem to escape their early conditioning.
I withdraw my mistaken comment about state custody. I misread or missed the statement about them being placed with other family. Time to pack it in and go to sleep, I guess. Thanks for the correction.

Now now, don’t you go saying that drug use causes problems that affect other people and can even prove fatal.
You’ll have the thread full of slobbering Paultards screaming that laws against drugs cause everything from Mooshelle’s fat butt to dropped cell phone calls.

I’m perfectly happy making drugs legal while elevating the rights of children to functional parents over the rights of parents to be addicts AND raise children.

This is disgusting. These people should be punished but I must confess when raising young children, I did think on passing “lock them in a closet I’ll lay down in front of the door and take a nap”, only thought it NEVER acted on it.
