According to MehrNews, the mouthpiece of the Islamic regime in Iran, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has said that the Knessets decision to declare al-Quds (Jerusalem) the capital of Israel not only will not save the Zionist regime but also will speed up the regimes annihilation.
Ahmadinejad made the remarks during a meeting with the head of Turkey Iran parliamentary friendship group, Murat Yildirim, in Tehran on Tuesday.
He said that the Judaization of al-Quds (Jerusalem) is in line with the domineering powers colonialist policies to save the Zionist regime and dominate the region.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Ahmadinejad said that the Islamic Republic and Turkey have shared interests and common enemies.
He added the Palestine issue is one of the main concerns of the region and the world, and nobody can be indifferent to it. Iran and Turkey should prevent the hegemonistic powers from dominating the region, he stated.
He went on to say that the colonialists have always cast a greedy eye and thieving hand over the Middle East region and do not want any nation in the region to be powerful and advanced.
According to the website of the terrorist group Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Knesset has recently approved a draft law declaring Jerusalem the eternal and untied capital of Israel.
Hamas leadership in line with the radicals ruling Iran, recently called for the first ever Arab army to liberate the holy city of Jerusalem. Hamas also called on Arab countries to champion this cause and take preliminary steps toward the establishment of an Arab military coalition. Hamass statement reads: The first step is to form Quds Brigades in each Arab country in order to invite the abandoned Palestinians to join, as well as establish, a central Arab military command.
Hamas reiterated in its statement: The battle for the liberation of Jerusalem is closer than ever and, God willing, we will win.
Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh and Chairman of the Hamas Political Bureau Khaled Meshaal are scheduled to pay a visit to Iran and Turkey during their trip to a number of Muslim and Arab countries.
You catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar.
But flies don’t generally survive a nuclear strike.
Regardless, what’s the problem? Move the capitol to Jerusalem — should have been done in 1967 — stop the fictional peace “process”, and snuff Ahmedeadman.
Nothing too public — shoot his ass out of the sky during his return over the ocean.

Would it suprise Muslims that NOT ONCE is Jerusalem ever mentioned in the Koran?
Please see post number 23. Thanks!
You are 100% right. In 1980, Israel’s Legislator known as the Knesset passed a law declaring East Jerusalem the capital of Israel. If Iran actually made the threat they are 32 years to late and are looking rather stupid. This I wouldn’t put past the Iranian government. Or it could be a hocks article for excitement and the author didn’t do his/her homework.
Jerusalem has been our capital for the past 3,500 years, and actively so for the past 63 years, during the past 45 of which it was finally reunited. So where’s the beef?

Be a shame if anything untoward happened to them
while traveling...
Modern Israel's capital has been Jerusalem since its founding in 1948, just as Jerusalem was the capital of Biblical Israel under the regime of King David and then King Solomon. There's no ifs, ands, or buts about it. So there's no need to move the capital at all. (Now if the US would finally move its embassy to Jerusalem in accordance with this obvious truth, and the State Department would allow passports to indicate "Jerusalem, Israel" as place of birth when such is the case.)
Furthermore, Jerusalem has never been the capital of any Muslim nation.
Ahmadinejad is merely blustering in his rabid hatred of Israel and the Jewish people.
Too bad there are no dung beetles there for him!
