An amazing outbread of journalism at Fox News!

Fox appears to be signalling that this is real news and that they will cover the hearing. Baier did not mention the other numerous plantiffs nor their separate hearings that were all granted, but this is progress. Afterall, it isn't "news" if no one covers it!

Wow, Baier actually mentioned NBC concerns on their main news hour, instead of just mocking

This is a first for any news program: “Others say the real issue is that he’s not a natural born citizen.”

Actually rather fair and balanced. Baier doesn’t say he thinks the plaintiffs will win, but at least he calls it the “so-called ‘birther’ movement,” and more important, he mentions it in a news program.

Fox News has been as bad as the liberal networks on this issue, so it really is pretty remarkable.

I about fell out of the chair when that story came on. I knew better than to hope the panel would cover it. I can just imagine Krauthammer’s take...

Et tu, Bret?!
...contending Obama is not a natural born citizen and therefore should not be on the March presidential primary in Georgia. You'll remember last year the White House released the president's long form birth certificate...
You bring it right back around to the non issue of the birth certificate when the issue is natural born citizenship. You're just another example of why I don't watch FOX any more and I consider you to be the best of the lot.

Hey, Bret, all his purported birth certificate did was confirm that his Daddy wasn't even a US Citizen which further proves that he isn't a natural born citizen, one born of citizen parents.

“You’ll remember last year the White House released the president’s long form birth certificate, however Taitz, along with many others in the so-called “birther” movement, is still not satisfied.”

NO kudos to Baier or Fox if he said this!

It DRIPS with sarcasm and innuendo that “Bath-House” Barry actually released a genuine Birth Certificate-not to mention, the court case has to do with Natural Born Citizenship-NOT the fraudulent birth certificate.

Wow, we are supposed to be happy with the bread crumbs Fox News knocks to the floor?

A little blurb on the second’s long, gossipy, between-commercials filler, “political grapevine?”

Gee, thanks Fox. /sarcasm

Where were they a four years ago when the Senate was passing resolutions about McCain and ignoring Obama?

They are trillions of stolen taxpayer dollars too late and shredding of The Constitution too little.

The president's lawyer in Atlanta says he's optimistic the judge will decide in the president's favor.

Whats this? The lawyer isn't sure? If he was sure this wouldn't have been an issue.
On exacly what basis will the judge decide? We shall see.

Congrats to Brett Baier for having the courage to broach this story on national TV. It was also covered locally in Atlanta on WXIA-TV.

It must be noted that the "court" in this case is a State Administrative Hearings Judge, who (if my understanding of this is correct) only makes a recommendation on Obama to the Georgia Secretary of State (a Republican). We'll see if the SOS has the guts to deny Obama ballot access if the judge should rule that way.
