Teachers at a Skokie school forced a 6-year-old with a broken leg and a concussion to crawl back to his classroom across an icy playground, then failed to call for an ambulance, according to a lawsuit filed Tuesday.
Kindergartner Rahul Chandani slipped on a mound of snow and hit his head in the playground at Devonshire Elementary School on Jan. 3 last year, but didnt get any medical help until his mom came to get him, the lawsuit filed in Cook County circuit court by Chandanis parents Pritam and Priya alleges.
His teacher told him, Youre a big boy I cant carry you, the boys mother, Priya Chandani, said Wednesday, She told him to walk back, but his leg was broken so he fell again and then had to crawl at least 200-300 feet back to the school building.
If someone did that to me as an adult, Id slap them.

In addition to this, the staff refused to call an ambulance. I hope that in addition to filing the suit, the parents use the proceeds to send their children to private schools.
She’d slap them? If it were my child, I’d own them and I would certainly never send my child back to that school.
Slipped on a mound of snow, fell on his head and broke his leg?
That is a sadistic bitch that shouldn’t be allowed around children...
I am beginning to think that public schools are run by idiots without a lick of common sense. The same crowd that deems plastic forks lethal weapons, a kid saying he thinks his teacher is “cute” has committed a sex crime and any mention of Christmas offensive while celebrating Muslim holidays obviously can’t recognize a kid with a broken leg.
I’m amazed, the article says they are suing for “in excess of $200,000”. If it were me it would be more like the millions!
I guarantee it...............

Jan. 3, 2011 there was big snow on the ground around here, plus lots of ice. School had been closed over the holidays, and the surface wasn’t broken yet from children playing on it. I drove through Chicago on Jan 2 on my way back to Wisconsin after Christmas, and it was miserable. I can see how a child might slip, crack his head, and break his leg.
I remember because my husband was transported to a hospital 25 miles from our home for brain surgery on Jan. 3, 2011, and I was afraid to follow the ambulance in my car. I begged off going until the next day in the day time when I could see.

The problem is where the bill gets sent; this teacher should be in debtors prison to pay it, but instead we’ll all get the bill.
where is a picture of this witch
What is the matter with these people? I had a call once, the boy had fallen the day before, he went to the ER in an ambulance and was sent home. Supposedly, no broken bone. The next night he called 911 himself, as soon as his mother left the house. He cried and told us he went to school that day and on the stairs he heard a crack. The pain increased all day. The mother came back and went bat crazy screaming at him for disobeying her. My crew backed off, I was not in charge. I kept insisting I would take him back to the ER, the mother refused. The grandmother arrived along with the police. The police told her to take him to the ER or face an arrest. She finally agreed to go in their own vehicle. After the call, back at the station we had it out. A bit of yelling with me being the only one who believed this boy. The grandmother got in touch with one of the crew the next day, the ER had confirmed a break. They missed the hairline fracture the night before. I still get torked about that situation. I wanted it reported. I cannot even imagine how angry I would be at this teacher. Unbelievable how cruel people are.
this teacher should be in debtors prison to pay it,
If this had happened in a private school, several people would be in custody for their reckless behavior.
Zero tolerance - for teachers
Aka all gym teachers. I broke my nose and finger - which had turned purple, and she said, stop slacking, get back in the game.
Lousy writing: The title specifically says “Teacher,” yet the first word of the article says “Teachers,” in the plural.
She deserved a kick in the crotch and then told to get up and run once around the track....:O) I can be meaner than a gym teacher.....GG but age has given me an attitude...
