Interesting. Does his record in office comport with those campaign promises? Bet it doesn't. Matter of fact, I know it doesn't.
So campaign blather aside, where does his actual record substantially deviate from that of any other big government, statist liberal?
If people think Obama and Romney are the same when it comes to nominating a Supreme Court Justice, I offer Kagan and Sotomeyor as examples.
Romney would never select people of that caliber to a seat on the SCOTUS without suffering the wrath of Conservative and Moderate Republicans. (remember Bush and Harriet Meyers?)
At this time I like Newt, but I am also an Anybody but Obama Voter in the General. Funny how some people here say they would vote for (1) their Dog, (2) a potted plant, (3) belly button lint over Obama but draw a line when it comes to Romney.
