The perp looks like she's either off her bean or an OWS type. Or maybe both.
I'm actually surprised she was able to get so close to the painting as to deface it. You'd think a painting worth that much would be guarded/behind glass/etc.

BTW, here's the perp and the painting:

Is that picture of the painting “before” or “after” the damage?
If “before”, then I claim her intervention may have actually improved upon the “artist’s” original work.

That painting is worth $30 million?
Clearly I'm in the wrong line of work.

She may have some issues but anyone who would pay more than fifty bucks for that is a real loop-de-loop.
Might make a nice pattern for a Naugahyde couch though.

Proverbs 26:3 Guide a horse with a whip, a donkey with a bridle, and a fool with a rod to his back! There isnt 30 thousand dollars worth of paintings in the whole museum if they call that art. Someone needs to be beaten with a rod for paying that much money for crap!
To: DemforBush
HUH! 30 million of hard earned money or National Endowment for the Arts money? Anyway I’m with the poster that recommends these pricy works of art be protected by glass.

Probably if she crapped on it, the paintings value would have gone up another ten mill.
Such is the absurdity they call “modern art” these days.

There isnt 30 thousand dollars worth of paintings in the whole museum if they call that art. Monet, towards the end of his life, was a hack. He knocked out about one nearly identical copy of Water Lilies at Giverny, if he even drew them himself. How you put a value on "art" is a subject for P.T. Barnum.
To: DemforBush
I'm not justifying the destruction of it, but this is meaningless, tasteless "art" that only a commie or socialist would love - right in line with the stated goals of communism in the senate record.
Basically, it was already crap. Who could tell the difference if she wiped with it?
