Now that is the icing on the cake. A man who I can support 100% on this subject. Globul Warming = The Big Lie.
When I breathe dirty air it makes my dirty water taste better :-)
When I was a kid, in North Dakota, we used to go to a farm and kill our own chickens for the freezer. There was a double bar hinged at one end and the chickens neck was placed between them whereby a sudden yank on the chickens body upward, like an underhand free-throw, would propel a headless chicken out and away to land in the yard, afterward to be retrieved.
Some of the chickens apparently hadn't received an update from said separated head and would proceed to run around the yard like, like......well, like a chicken with its head cut off akin to a Chicken Little and the sky is falling (AGW Mantra).
Back to my heading, “Bad news for the Climate Change Fight”!!!???????, Fight???? What stinking fight???? They are Chicken Little running around with their heads cut off and they don't even know the fight is OVER!!!!
It just takes time for synaptic neural connections to stop their collective activation of the muscles.
Santorum scores again.
I guess the headline is meant to confuse conservatives. Romney has wobbled, while Santorum has stood firm as a “climate denier.”
Mitt believes in man-made Global Warming. Santorum correctly states that man-made global warming is a fraud. Mitt needs to go hug a polar bear.
“Gingrich had a passionate fling with global warmism a few years ago. Now hes on the outs from what I hear. I dont see this as an issue with Gingrich now.”
That is exactly right. However the truth will not stop those who are following McCains orders to get behind Mitt.
Go, Rick!
Oh PO... The friggin climate changes every day! Been changing since the beginning of time.
It looks like they like Newt though. Must be that video he did with Pelosi.
Your point is well taken. Plus they know Pelosi has Newty by the b****. She would control him.
If the Freepers who support Newty are real—not lurkers—it amazes me how they can overlook the Pelosi love seat ad and her public statement avowing she has plenty of dirt on Newt.
Same goes for the Romey(care) crowd. How can a Pubbie elected governor in a liberal state who enacts Romney care be anything but a big governmwent demrat? Same goes for Perry. Here is turncoat demrat who supported Gore and his global warming scam. Why would anyone believe a turncoat anyway?
Boggles the mind.
It’s good to see Santorum having a great fund raising day. I’ll send him some money in the next day or two. Tea Partiers have been looking for someone to rally around. Maybe he’s the person. I can tell you this, South Carolina is ready for him. None of the RINO Three Stooges resonate here.
I have posted a link to that video many times. I was amazed at a few of the responses. One told me he was 'tricked' by Democrats into believing in global warming as 'we all were' ??/. Another just ignored the link as if they hadnt seen it and said the Democrats are lying about it.
One of the Iowa ads that Newt was so upset about told viewers that he did that Climate change video with Pelosi. I guess he didnt think Iowa voters should know about that.
You have to also remember that Maine and NH has suffered for decades of pollution from the old billowing smokestacks etc coming from the Midwest and the Paper mills of the NE can share the blame..the salmon population was effected greatly, other fish in northern lakes and streams; one could no longer and was warned by the State Fish and Game many years ago not to eat the deer liver from their kill in hunting season. Lobstering and now Maine Shimping catches, the latter which is now in season has been cut back drastically by the federal government, jobs will suffer and prices still for both are at real at lows. These states have become more environmentally conscious..perhaps after the fact, but from mistakes they have learned from and have fixed, but the the federal government can take things to far for politics and to appease the young and eager environmentalist voters who are the "know it alls" of the environment while living in some urban environment, in condos with granite countertops[now there is another story ;)], close to their restaurants and pubs.
As I said, fisherman learned from their own past mistakes which they will readily admit when they were in all out dragging mode & took out much of the fish[as well as flounder, I miss] for BIG money from offshore foreign canning factory ships [Russian and Japanese]. I used to just pick mussels off the rocks under the seaweed at low tide at the water's edge at a favorite location where they were once in abundance--sadly no more! I still look.
And now you have a winter of very little snow [few maybe 5 inches in Nov and a dusting at Christmas?] and still green grass showing--I am not complaining.
The Natural Resources [with all the government perks you and I do not have etc] agencies in all states are still very active and very liberal, even though their higher up execs have in some cases "retired" as the hockey stick/e-mails etc scandals broke.
They still do not know Santorum, but they know the smokestacks from which he came, mercury having been a real issue.
Do they know the unemployment and rising prices that Newt-Pelosi style climate change legislation brings?
I remember NYS being polluted in the 1970s especially the lakes. But NYS and Maine and NH and Pelosi and Newt shouldnt be telling Texas what energy they can and cant use and especially forcing them to use very expensive energy.
No Maine is not: Maine's Gov Paul LePage [R] is working with our neighbor up north on this very issue..as our energy prices are very extremely high. Our power company was sold off/split up/foreign buyers etc under Gov Angus King to save money..we know how that goes. King was also involved in a wind power utility company, Independence Wind, he co-founded. BIG GREEN GUY! ah huh!
Natural Resources and Job creation? Gov LePage [R] is not popular with Natural Resources as their restrictions are or will removed for jobs to come to Maine--restrictions that had no basis for being there in the first place or compromise has to be on the table for the good of the people, the taxpayers.
LePage wants to end green energy requirements.
"The LePage administration is exploring a deal that could make Maine the conduit for Canadian energy companies to sell electricity in New England. The corridors run along existing infrastructure, such as pipelines, highways and railroads.the state was poised to take advantage of several factors, including ISO New England region's planned retirement of a significant portion of coal- and oil-fired plants. Additionally, the state has identified several energy corridors that would allow new transmission lines to accommodate additional Canadian power capacity."
LePage is working deals to get the private sector to build natural gas pipelines from Canada [listen], to working to increase the use of wood pellet and electric heat in homes.[Governor LePage Talks About Plans For 2012]
When you need to get things done!!! often it is up to the state to take action and not wait for the federal government to make decisions when so heavily influenced by national politics.
It’s too bad that real environmental issues don’t get half the attention that the Co2 is the devil “climate change” BS does.
Isn't that the truth!!!
