It isnt just Richard Cordray. Obama is also set to use recess appointments to install his picks to the National Labor Relations Board, according to White House officials and others familiar with ongoing discussions.
The move, which is arguably as impotant as the Cordray appointment, will ratchet up opposition from Republicans and make this an even bigger fight, since they have been attacking the NLRB regularly for its moves to streamline union elections and inform workers of their rights.
Obama is set to appoint Sharon Block, Terence Flynn, and Richard Griffin to the board something unions have made a big priority for them in the new year. Senate Republicans have opposed the recess appointments to the NLRB on constitutional grounds, but unions charge that Republicans are only interested in rendering the agency inoperative.

It rarely works, because the ones they are “communicating” with are aware enough to see that is is just a leftist tactic.
Sad to see here at Free Republic, but everyone isn't as astute as you and I...

A 3 way race made to look like a divided GOP and to confuse morons who have a right to vote whether they are registered or not.
If the redistribution of real property isn't socialism, I don't know what is. I caught on before the bank got me. Banks get paid 200% on the dollar for every foreclosure. They have no incentive to do loan mods. They can accelerate a loan mod at any time and take the property.
I wish Marco Rubio would do more in this regard as redistribution of real property is just as horrible as Obamacare. MHA is still doing tv commercials to lure more people into homelessness. Don't do it, folks. Do your budget over. Don't make any deals with the govt/bank complex. It's theft.
Exactly. This is how Axelrod-protege/Obama-buddy Deval Patrick won in MA despite deep unpopularity. They made it a three-way race w an somewhat unpopular GOPer and a supposedly true-blue conservative outsider. The anti-Patrick vote split and dragged his sorry butt across the finish line w less than 50 percent of the vote.
We’re in a similar jam. All our frontrunners enjoy some popularity but also carry negatives, not just w general election voters but also w the base. The idea that we won’t have a third—or even a fourth—candidate is wishful thinking. It could conceivably end up being the establishment candidate plus Paul plus Trump. Obama’s side doesn’t have to divide us by much. If even five percent of our voters defect, he could win w a percentage as low as 46.
Scary, isn’t it?
>fine stay home in 2012. Just dont cry and complain w crocodile tears when we get two more kagans on the court.
I said nothing about staying home; only that I am wary of who the Republican party pushes and that such endorsement is by no means reason enough to vote for them.
>the purists on this site a laughable joke just as bad as the worst of the messiah worshipping obamabots.
What do you mean by ‘purist’?
“Single issue” perhaps?
But there are valid reasonings such that ‘single issue’ might be eminently valid; for instance if you believe that abortion is murder that means anyone outright “right to choose” must be off your list of acceptable candidates as they are advocating murder. You could be a hard-liner and reject the “Ron Paul” stance that it should be up to the States; however, there is a good amount of Constitutional-legal consideration in such and considering that the Constitution does *not* give the federal government jurisdiction over ‘murder’ as it does for ‘counterfeiting’ that sort of hard-line position is tenuous at best.
It’s been scary enough since the swearing in. Had the public at large ever taken Capitalism v. Communism which wss intense and required reading in my midwestern schools, the public at large would be as scared as we are. We studied absolutely everything. The masses are taught to sing Occupy songs. I’m starting to think home schooling is the only way to avoid brainwashing.
