The Twitty Kitty taunts your cat with a Twitter bird overhead - when he swats at it, a switch inside the box communicates with the web, and automatically updates a Twitter page

The circuit board inside Kitty Twitty connects to the internet via Twitter to say when your cat's playing with the toy. Its maker says you could use the same idea on your cat's bowl and catflap

I know it’s silly, but I do wish there was some way I could check on my cats during the day. I hate leaving them for 10 hours at a time.

The original version used Facebook, but the cats were very quick to "unfriend" their owners staff.

I can’t decide whether this is the Next Big Thing, or the silliest idea I’ve ever heard.

I have used a webcam aimed at kitty favorite snoozing places, but boring doesn’t quite describe it...

OK, this looks pretty dumb, but...

I could see hooking something like this to door sensors to tweet “someone entered the front door” to let you know when the kids got home (for working parents).

Yeah.....great idea.....gave my cat a cell phone.....all he did was call phone sex places.....and he ordered a semi truck full of rubber mice.....shouldn’t have left the credit card out.....he ran away from home, but the cops caught him when he crashed the pickup into a tree chasing birds.....insurance company wouldn’t cover it because I didn’t have him listed as an occasional driver.....I told ‘em he passed driver’s ed.......not really good at parallel parking, though.....kept getting distracted looking at himself in the rear view mirror.

That is a cute idea but my boy would probably rip the bird off the first day.He is very intent on hunting and killing his toys.So far long strings seem to fair about the best,Those and boxes seem to be indestructible.
