My girlfriend knows the Reis family and speaks highly of them. Their son was serving his country. Anybody who speculates about what happened at this point is a complete asshole.

Seems odd, this happened new years day, and they are not looking for any other suspects, yet no motive? Murder suicide seems to be what occurred but why?

I'm sure the investigators already know exactly what occurred and why, but are just not saying at this point, for whatever reasons. It seems obvious, based on this report, one of the 4 inside the condo was the shooter. Possibly more than one shooter, but I'd bet that's unlikely.

Debt, money, girlfriend/boyfriend/husband/wife love triangle jealousy thing?

Which one was the shooter, and what was the motive?

Would they pickup a complete stranger in a Chula Vista bar and take him home? Possible, but I doubt it.

As that would beg the question, why would a complete stranger kill them all, and then himself? Again, not likely.

My hunch is they or at 1 one of the 3 knew exactly who the unnamed stranger was.
