Either scenario would cause me to lose a lot of respect for Santorum. He doesn't need a backstabbing scumbag on the ticket with him. Also, given how weak most of the current crop of GOP candidates is, he'd be much better off without an also-ran from the presidential primaries. Names like Susana Martinez, Paul LePage, Paul Ryan, Marco Rubio, and Allan West come to mind.
Same deal with the freepers who fantasized about a Cain/Gingrich or Gingrich/Cain ticket. NO NEWT!
