Ron Paul is an idiot and why anyone in Iowa or anywhere else would consider him a viable candidate is beyond me.

The Straights are international waters. Closing them amounts to piracy on the high seas.
More than enough reason to bomb them back to the Bronze Age.

So Iran would be justified here..
Japan was justified in bombing Pearl Harbor......
islam was justified in 9/11.......
Does Ron Paul ever take the side of the USA and it’s alias?

And in response to a clear act of war on the high seas, we’d clearly be justified in reopening the Strait. And taking the war to our enemy, should we choose. Or any other nation choose, for that matter.

So, if the Western allies decide not to trade with Iran any more due to its nuclear weapons program and its sponsorship of Jihadist terrorism, Ron Paul thinks such peaceful action would warrant Iran responding by using military force to cut off access to international sea lanes.
My question then is this: Is Ron Paul more like Jane Fonda or Lord Haw Haw?

Ron Paul 1488
The Final Solution for America
The two eights of the number 1488 stand for the eigth letter of the alphabet: H. And the two of them together form H H or Heil Hitler.
The fourteen part of the number 1488 stands for those fourteen words that every white supremacist knows: "We must secure the existence of our people and a future for White children. (hat tip Bill Levinson)

The sanctions we just placed on them are similar to the sanctions placed on Japan prior to their attack in 1941.
It is reasonable to make the assumption that the results of these sanctions could be similar.
While Ron’s wording on this is very poor, the logic is not.
Cutting off Japan’s resources through the embargo = Attack on the US.
Cutting of flow of cash to Iran = ?
I am not a Paultard. I just think that this whole Iranian thing seems eerily like 1940 all over again.
