FROM THE ARTICLE: Murtha slandered the troops before the world, declaring that “Our troops overreacted because of the pressure on them, and they killed innocent civilians in cold blood.” Then-Illinois Sen. Barack Obama unabashedly backed Murtha’s smears. NYTimes reporter Paul von Zielbauer initially filed over 30 stories on the case, which the paper had hyped as the “defining atrocity” of the Iraq war. And then: One by one over the last six years, the Marines were exonerated.

I hope EVERY registered Democrat who loves our Military will remember the above BOLD statement come November 6,2012!

I'm a bit confused on this one. A few weeks back I believe smoothsailing had posted and article which you in turn had pinged me on, indicating new developments in the case, where it appeared that this case just might be closed and Sargent Wuterich would not have to stand trial. Now we read this.
