Snip: Irfan Naseer, 31, Irfan Khalid, 27, and Ashik Ali, 27, from Birmingham, have pleaded not guilty to engaging in conduct in preparation for terrorist acts.
But the prosecution claims that in covert recordings made by police after the men returned from Pakistan they are heard talking about putting sharp blades on the front of a truck and "running" into people, the court heard.
Snip: Alfetlawi was charged in the death of his 20-year-old stepdaughter, Jessica Mokdad, at her grandmothers home in Warren, MI, in April 2011[...] Prosecutors have said the motive was rooted in the fact that Alfetlawi had been sexually abusing Mokdad and that she might go public with the assaults

I ran across a story on FB that is admittedly hearsay at this point, but it would indicate that Gen. Ham actually attempted to DEFY the stand down order to provide air support, but within a minute of that decision was apprehended by his second in command, and relieved of his duties.
If that story is true, it could shed some light as to who made the decision at that point to call off the air support. If Ham actually managed to get the order out in defiance of the stand down order, then it would make sense why the strike was called off AFTER the C-130 was in the area.
Following is what I read, and shared over on FB. Like I said - I realize this is hearsay right now, but thought it perhaps may shed more light on the truth...
RE: General Ham, former head of Africom - word is he was ready to defy orders, and send a rapid response team to assist, but was apprehended and relieved of his duties by his second in command within 30 seconds - 1 min. after he made that decision. We need to know what General Hams side of the story is... (Ken DeWitt is the person who originally posted this at FB, I received it through a share from a friend...)

Gen Ham was fired 30 seconds after deciding to intervene in Benghazi: I heard a story today from someone inside the military that I trust entirely. The story was in reference to General Ham that Panetta referenced in the quote below.
quote:
(The) basic principle is that you dont deploy forces into harms way without knowing whats going on; without having some real-time information about whats taking place, Panetta told Pentagon reporters. And as a result of not having that kind of information, the commander who was on the ground in that area, Gen. Ham, Gen. Dempsey and I felt very strongly that we could not put forces at risk in that situation.
The information I heard today was that General Ham as head of Africom received the same e-mails the White House received requesting help/support as the attack was taking place. General Ham immediately had a rapid response unit ready and communicated to the Pentagon that he had a unit ready.
General Ham then received the order to stand down. His response was to screw it, he was going to help anyhow. Within 30 seconds to a minute after making the move to respond, his second in command apprehended General Ham and told him that he was now relieved of his command.
The story continues that now General Rodiguez would take General Hams place as the head of Africon.
I found this story when I got home after hearing this story.
quote:
President Barack Obama will nominate Army Gen. David Rodriguez to succeed Gen. Carter Ham as commander of U.S. Africa Command and Marine Lt. Gen. John Paxton to succeed Gen. Joseph Dunford as assistant commandant of the Marine Corps, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta announced.
As I was typing this I heard John Bolton on Greta say that there are conflicting reports of General Hams comments on this tragedy and why a rapid response unit was not deployed. Bolton says someone needs to find out what Ham was saying on 9/11/12.

A mysterious Libyan ship, reportedly carrying weapons and bound for Syrian rebels, may have some link to the terror attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, it has emerged.
The Libyan-flagged vessel Al Entisar, which means "The Victory," was received in the Turkish port of Iskenderun, near the Syrian border, on September 6, just five days before the attack on the US consulate.
On the night of September 11, slain US envoy Chris Stevens met with the Turkish Consul General Ali Sait Akin.
Although what was discussed at the meeting is not public, a source told Fox News that Stevens was in Benghazi to negotiate a weapons transfer, an effort to get SA-7 missiles out of the hands of Libya-based extremists.
According to the report, a congressional source cautioned against drawing premature conclusions about the consulate attack and the movement of weapons from Libya to Syria via Turkey, noting they may in fact be two separate and distinct events.
But the source acknowledged the timing and the meeting between the Turkish diplomat and Stevens was "unusual," the report said.
According to an earlier report by the Times of London, Al Entisar was carrying 400 tons of cargo.
Some of it was humanitarian, but also reportedly weapons, described by the report as the largest consignment of weapons headed for Syria's rebels on the frontlines. The cargo reportedly included surface-to-air anti-aircraft missiles, RPG's and Russian-designed shoulder-launched missiles known as MANPADS, the report said. (ANI)
Something ties in with Turkey as the envoy(?) left just before the attack. When will we learn that Arab like people are very tricky to deal with. I had my own experience on a trip to Morocco.
Thanks for the ping.
Three times, the same number of times the DNC denied God a place on their platform.
Just sayin’...
” - - - they will soon be forgotten - - - “
WRONG! America never forgets its Heros, or why they fought.
We will remember Benghazi just as we remember The Alamo.
WOW! Powerful graphic. I hope it goes viral.
Thanks to both of you for sharing these comments...

I read the same thing about ham in two or three places,it makes sense. Don’t really know what happened with the admiral however.
They are co-conspirators of one of the worst attempted cover-ups in American history. The deaths of Americans are indeed on their hands as well. Freedom of the press does not by any stretch mean freedom to suppress the news.
It may take time, but eventually more facts concerning this abomination of justice will be revealed. All involved should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

One regular polling station manager was telling me that all efforts to the voting machines delivered has been met with excuse saying they were not ready or still being packed.
Sounds like they had to “prepare/repair” the units!
Thanks for the ping!
