Your post brings back some interesting and touching memories in my life. The time was the during the depression days of the 1930s. My mother was working for our family of 4 for about $4.00 per week when she did work. On holidays such as Thanksgiving and Christmas and other times different organizations like the Elks Club and Salvation Army would put on free meals for children of poor, disadvantaged families. My mother always saw to it that I was at these free meals. However, she could never get my brother who was older than I was to go to these free meals. His stand was that he didn’t want any handouts. My brother grew up to be a star athlete in high school as well as a scholastic standout. He was killed in the battle for Okinawa. One thing above all others I remember about my brother is his stubbornness against handouts.
You’re going to have to choose another day of the week: on Thursdays we have Cub Scouts.
Aside from that, I could have the baby and host a potluck dinner at the same time, as long as some guest is a nurse or paramedic.

Found the postings and thread to be informative in a host of manners to those who could be misinformed. Am late weighing in, and what am thinking could be late also. Was surprised at the information provided, and the manner the facts and information was presented which maybe is unknown (some of the information) to some. If am not late, and my vote means nothing, my vote is no for zot. Hold no power and my vote maybe is out of line. If so ... my apology for bothering to weigh in.
Bottom line is that the poster is very ‘tolerant’ of illegals, is pretty much saying “But they were so NICE” and excusing breaking teh law.
Hence, they got the attention of the Undead Thread.
And a chorus of “Aww, it’s so sad!”
