House Speaker John Boehner will face a challenge in the GOP primary next year, Fox News has confirmed.

26-year-old David Lewis, who does not live in Boehner's Ohio district, has filed with the Butler County Board of Elections (in Boehner's home county) to challenge the speaker on March 6.

Lewis is a Tea Party loyalist who lives in Clermont County on the east side of Cincinnati.

I would love to see this democrat in Republican clothing tossed out. He’s a 100% waste and double-talker.

I am noticing more and more young patriots stepping forward...

I don't know anything about this Lewis guy...and I'm not a radical conservative....but if he almost has to be better than our boy Boehner...

Cantor was the man that whipped TARP, he needs to be voted all the way out of congress.

I believe it’s Eric Cantor’s “turn.”

Send boehner out the same way they dispatched little tommy dashole.
Boehner is a freakin disappointment.
My fault for having ANY confidence in the fool in the first place.

Cantor would be some better than Boehner.

I guess we really need term limits to fix this mess. But how do we get that done?

Let’s be careful. This can backfire. I have no clue about this guy but the last thing we need is another Christine O’Donnell.

Remeber Newt accused Ryan of “right win engineering”.

It’s already a win in my opinion. A message has been sent that just about anybody is vulnerable, especially if you ignore the will of the people.

It may take time, but we will weed you out!

“If we get another 40 seats Ryan would probably get the Speakership.”

This is a more likely way to get rid of “Boner,” and it has the added benefit of thinning the herd of RINOs at the same time. The GOP “establishment” are a bunch of weak sisters who ( as Rush Limbaugh opined) are more concerned about committee chairmanships and the trappings of the office than doing anything of substance for the country.

Tribalism over patriotism.

You have summed the problem up in only three words.

Congress has an approval rating of only FIVE per cent (Rasmussen); yet the great majority will be re-elected. It's a sports mentality...all the OTHER teams suck, but mine is the BEST! Same thing applies to Congressmen..."it's the OTHER ones that are the problem...MINE is the best!"

I won't believe the people are getting serious about cleaning out Congress unless I see 100 of them thrown out on their *ss next November.

This is not a serious challenge.
Obviously. I do believe you have to live within the district. Even worse, I think you have to have lived there for a few months. I don't live in Boehner's district either, but if I did I'd vote for him. I gotta go with RINO Mike Turner until somebody better shows up.
