That’s fine if you are in your home or your car, but if you encounter a bad guy when you are away from your car, is he going to let you go to your car to get your gun?

Came across an interesting video that could save grief if I'm stopped for a traffic violation. The narrator says it helps if you notify the officer upfront that you have a CCW permit and hand him the permit with your driver's license.

Thoughts on that anyone?

I expect that very soon we will have a new federal law passed saying that anyone intending to carry out a criminal attack must notify the intended victim of his intentions and allow the victim at least five minutes to retrieve his weapon, remove the trigger lock (which will be required by the same law) and load the weapon with only approved non-lethal ammunition.
