it may be that Newt is just throwing this out to attract Sarah supporters; my though is that Sarah has already declined running for POTUS, so why would she ever accept to play 2nd fiddle to Newt, when the VP job entails almost as much disruption to family life as the number one spot. Sarah Palin declined to run this time for one reason only: She is a polarizing figure even within the Republican Party. Her numbers plateaued far below Romney with greater name recognition. She saw this, and realized that she needs to add to her resume. Seasoning within an upcoming Republican admistration would make her a formidable candidate. In the mean time, she is making she gets free publicity and big buck from FOX for staying out of politics, but look for her to endorse the strongest not-Romney/not-Paul candidate (if there still is one) in late spring.

Propaganda alert:
Gingrich did not “throw this out”.
Gingrich was specifically asked about it by a caller.
Please stick to facts.
Thank you.

Sarah is a GOP outsider and if Sarah joined the gop ruling elite... she could not be Sarah. The establishment gop leadership hates her for the same reasons that the gop establishment hated her in Alaska and backed the cow to defeat her choice for Senator. She will never forget and neither shall I.
